Sculpted according to Leiaâ?TMs winsome and diminutive specifications, this 1/7th scale model kit comes completely pre-painted and requires very minor snap-together assembly. Her harem-styled slave outfit somehow manages to remain demure even despite its sparseness, adorning Leia with a sleek long-legged look, burying the relative formality of all previous appearances in favor of lustier, almost medieval intimations. Her chestnut-colored tresses are combed flawlessly and bound into a whiplike braid. Her alabaster-hued beauty is accentuated by the arabesque gold sculptures of her collar, her halter, her arm bands and breechcloth belt. She stands poised, catlike, atop a scrub-surfaced stone rampart, one leg extended nearly to supple length, the other bunched beneath her, carrying her gracefully buoyant weight. This of course was Leiaâ?TMs fate after her failed attempt, disguised as the bounty hunter Boussh, to lowball Jabba and liberate the carbonite-frozen Han Solo. Initially, her ploy seemed to work, but later when she returned to Jabbaâ?TMs court by night and attempted to free Solo, she was ambushed by Jabba and his retinue. Having only recently delivered an especially agonizing pink slip to his former concubine, Oola, Jabba commandeered Leia, dolling her up and domesticating her for what might have ordinarily been an extremely vile remainder of existence. She remained in captivity, collar-shackled to Jabbaâ?TMs throne dais, until the big Sarlacc escape occurred and she finally saw the opportunity to choke Jabba with his own chain.
